    b. longifolia not easy to grow well
when water has high oxygen values (such as when it's bubbling) it tends to develop tiny holes that grow bigger until the leave dies
maybe in a tank with slow growing plants
the flower bud is very nice to see, and can be easily achieved in the home aquaria

i dun think can grow out of water, it's like waterlilies. Mine from Thailand some are dormant i think, the bulb just sit there do nothing. but the ones that are growing seem to ok, with nice long leaves. my CO2 (not sure exactly how many mg/l) is about 1.5 bubbles per second, enough for MM to bubble.
