Long time never hold my camera in front of the tank already. But thanks to Azmi from EC, I managed to take some shots, really enjoyed it.

Start with Betta coccina, cheap but beautiful fish. I finally got a satisfied picture of the red dward type.

Dario dario, big and nice male fish were fighting all the time, were the best subject.

The rest are common fish, but in good shapes.

I like this one quite a lot.

    last shot

    Comments pls,

    Cheers,

The last shot was a nice one Tree. By the way, I think those are some sort of panchax species. If you took this during the killie gathering, then they should be Aplocheilus kirchmayeri.

Just realised something, Tree, you mispelt Hamilton's name on the Dario pic. Should be Hamilton, not Hamiltom.

You won't regret getting the 350D. You can shoot at ISO 1600 with good results.

Don't forget that the Digital Kiss with the USM kit lens is rare and can command a slight premium.

Justikanz, Dario dario is a little member of the Badis family. Here's an image of mine.. quality nowhere near Tree's or Benny's.

First image flashed, second without flash and last is an image of two males sparring. Very blur because my hand wasn't stable.. damn I need a tripod.

Was wondering... How come it looks like the Badis Badis but yet is known as the Dario... But it is flashier than the Badis... Takes prepared food? Most Badis would not...

Well the scientists found enough differences between the Dario species and Badis species to split them into two groups.

Mine do not take prepared foods. I feed mine with live foods. However they can be made to adapt to crushed flake and pellets. Only thing is, its not easy to make them adapt.
