    Hi guys,

I need an ID for this fish. Thought it is a sailfin tetra (Crenuchus spilurus) but can't be sure.

What is interesting is that fungal infection is usually isolated to one or two spots. However, I have 3 specimens that has it all over the body. Really strange.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Benny, this is not a tetra (hint: very few tetras do not have adipose fin). it is the Indian "high-fin" barb, Oreichthys sp., but is commonly mislabeled as O. cosuatis.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Does not look like a tetra, think I saw something like it in a shop at Jalan Bukit Merah... Should be a barb...

Knew I could count on you for the proper ID. Will change it later tonight.
