Err.. African tetras are not usually imported in due to all sorts of reasons. I've seen images of the Jelly Bean Tetra aka Ladigesia roloffi in websites like RVA.

Its a beautiful species and one that I would like to own someday. Too bad they hail from Sierra Leone and Liberia, both of which are under political instability and civil war.

Another species you can dream about is Lepidarchus adonis..

How to collect in Sierra Leone and Liberia without getting shot at? Thats why nobody brings them in. Besides, I think they cost alot more than their South American cousins so the prices will definitely shoot up. Coupled with irregular supply from African exporters, I'm not sure if we'll ever see them..

No need to frust lah.. I also frust but nevermind, one will definitely see them.

Yoohoo Ranma.. got source for Lepidarchus and Ladigesia online..

All you need is to get an importer to link up with the supplier.
