If you're lucky, you'll get lots of seeds and baby A. crispus growing out of nowhere in your tank.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Next outing! Bedok North Aponogeton plant farm!!

Doesn't the heat and the rapid evporation gets to the flowers?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Evaporation is not a problem, the flowers are meant to be exposed to air. The problem is the heat from the lights. Mine were ok with the PLs, as long as I moved them to the sides and not leave them directly under the lights. Even if I don't, usually only the tops wilt, but the bottoms stay healthy enough to give me at least 40 plantlets per batch.

However, my tank was densely planted so a lot of the seeds took a long time to grow big enough for me to notice them among the E. tennelus, Sagittaria, E. quads, and crypts. Once you find them, move them into the brightly lit areas to maximise their growth.

I've never done this myself, but have read that to maximise pollination, get a clean brush and brush up and down the flowers. Do a search on the web for more details.

    Hi,
I have been to the Pasir Ris farm, but, where is the Bedok North Aponogeton
    Farm??

Can you describe me the way there? I am interested to visit aquarium plant farms.

    Thanks.

I believe Benny was joking about Michael's 5ft tank becoming a Aponogeton farm.

    Hints:
    - It is unlikely any serious plant farm will grow only one species of plant.
    - Michael's location is Bedok North.

    Cheers,
Thats a good one benny. The flower is okay, the stem is about 60-70cm yurning here and there like he is trying to escape the heat. Flower is half submerse now size about 10cm long. submerse part starting to turn green at the small buds.
Just found out this guy is 'unisex', male & female together.
