    Hi,

I have a 4ft x 2ft x 2 ft tank and existing 4 FL tubes @ 36W each. What are the types of low light plants that I can have?

I have also a chiller and ADA Africana soil.

    Thanks

    - Cryptocoryne (wendtii, balansae etc)
    - Hairgrass
    - moss species

Most aquatic plants are low light plants....down to the LCP (Light Compensation point where photosynthesis equals to respiration) that is. As long as you provide ample CO2/Macros/Micros for that given amount of light they should do well. More light equals more demand on CO2 and nutrients from the plants.

Your lights are maginal for most plants. Those plants mentioned by Lorba are quite safe bet.

It is good that you have a chiller. Lower temperature might help some plants cope with lower light level.

Hygrophila polysperma, Valisneria americana, Hydrocotyle leucocephala and some Echinodorus sp. are other plants you can consider.
