Hmm... Have you guys tried such a poll? PFK ran a poll on this for 2004 and came out with a top 100 UK favourite fish list... Maybe we can do that too.

My favourites are, in descending order of favourites: 1)Cherry barbs, Puntius Titteya 2)Discus, Symphysodon sp. 3)Peacock goby, Tateurndina ocellicauda 4)Badis, Badis Badis / Dario Dario and 5) Pictus cats, Pimelodus pictus
Oh dear... It sure is difficult... have to leave out Chilodus punctatus...

Let me explore if there's anyway we can do a permanent multiple poll for say 50 of the most popular planted tank fishes.
Perhaps Choy can contribute some thumbnails for us?
