    hi,
i'm currently growing riccia on SS meshes as my foreground plant..
i secure the riccia by tying nylon strings together with the stainless steel metal mesh.
however i always see bits and pieces of riccia floating on my water surface, and some of the meshes becoming botak, maybe my SAE dig them out.

so i would like to know how u guys grow it, izzit by just tying using nylon strings,
    or
i've seen in Y934, they wrap a netting on top of the riccia and metal mesh and tie the whole bundle using nylon strings.....izzit better this way?

    thanks for ur wonderful advices!

Using a coarse netting is better than fishing line for Riccia.
