I remember I always religiously hack and crush snails every morning, but they just spawn more and more. The more I kill, the more I get later, till I give up. Somehow their populations will reach a peak, i.e due to limited food.

They say using badis can control. I am not sure how true is that.
    Cheers,
    Andrew

Try Loaches (Clown, Yoyo, Yellow-tailed or Orange-tailedand maybe even the Khulis), Badis badis, think Dario dario as well... Oh... My Betta also loves to empty the snail shells... My 2 cents...
    Read me! http://justikanz.blogspot.com/

    I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...

Do you have shrimps? If not, you can try some of the medications that will put an end to the snail problem quickly.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

so you managed to find a horseface, or did you already tried it long ago?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
