It's been about a week after I planted my HC. Right now they look like HC should, small tiny leaves all over.
However, now I see very large leaves growing out of it, that look very much like leaves Bacopa species will have.
Contaminated HC or is there something wrong here? It's already pretty high light... 72W 8000K in a standard 2ft, high tech style. The leaves certainly look like they're from the HC stems.
Other info:
ADA Aquasoil Africana
More than 30ppm of CO2, unmeasurable due to Aquasoil
1/4 KNO3, pinch of KH2PO4 alternate days.
Seachem Equilibrium on 50% weekly WC.

It might be your high tech tank, try growing hc in low light and no co2 leaves will be smaller, then try it in high light and co2, but difference in leaf size. This a pplies to most plants too.

ranmasatome, it's just a few leaves here and there. Hopefully it IS really contaminated with some stem plant.

Squee.. i had the same thing happen to me.. mine was comtaminated with MM.. just manually remove those large leaves loh.. since its just little patches..
Can you guy help me to plant HC. I had get it from Teo but I failed each time.

An update: Yeap it was contamination after all. HC now putting out roots and small leaves
