    I went to the aquarium shop the other day and i asked the guy where did he put his diffuser and he said he didnt have one!!! I was shocked as it was full of healthy plants!!!! He said he was injeccting Co2 into his tank by injecting into his filter!!! Can anyone pls tell me how to do this cause i want to do away with mine!

    There's a reason why this method is not widely practised. It's been asked and suggested before.

    The reason is that there is a chance that a pocket of CO2 may build up in the filter chamber and cause and airlock. This will result in the stoppage of water flow and possibly impeller damage.

    I've also read somewhere that they say it is bad for the bacteria in the filter. Is it true?

    No, it shouldn't be unless you overdose it. The water in the tank shouldn't be too much of a difference to the water in the filter. pH might be slightly lower in the filter but the difference is probably insignificant.

    I had an internal filter that I could change with several out going valves. One of which works like an airpump by drawing outside air into the valve, without going into the filter. Could it be one of those?

    Sure. They make good CO2 diffusers for small tanks.
