Bought some at Havelock last month( 80 cents per bunch type). May I know which species is it? Japonica or Aubertii

What about those at petmart in their display tank. Theirs is so small compared to mine.

One last Q, the new shoot of my blyxa is reddish. Is this normal or an indication of nutrient deficiency?

    how tall is it?
aubertii grows much bigger than japonica
the reddish hue is due to strong light
i'd describe it as a jade hue

Don't know man, still at infancy stage. But looking at it should not be more than 10 cm (that's right now). I think still growing.

    aubertii is gigantic
10cm should be around there, for 1 plant
this plant tends to grow upwards by splitting, but each individual plantlet is rather small
