    Hi guys,

Found another "thingy" in my tank over the weekend while doing a rescape. This is hiding underneath my DW and looks really interesting. Anyone can ID this? It's about 8cm long.

Seems like I keep finding such things in my tanks...
    Cheers,
    Joe

You live near a nature reserve or some "wild" part (overgrown reserved govt land) of Singapore? It copuld have hitched a ride on driftwood, or as a larva or egg on new plants that you bought.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Nature reserve/overgrown reserved govt land? No no no...

But facing a forest my flat is...

My driftwood has been in the tank for 4 months liao, so unless it started really tiny and grew for the past 4 months. Sounds more like plants is a possiblity.

I actually thought I saw it maybe a month back underneath my gravel at the front of the tank glass (with its legs on the glass), but as I did not see it later I ignored it. Until I saw it again over the weekend.
    Cheers,
    Joe

Reminds me of sandworms, but those are saltwater...
...so what you're going to do with it, crop it up and serve it to the fish?

Just found out there are over 9000 sp. of sandworms , marine and freshwater sandworms that lives in moist soil, so this could be it.

    U really work fast!

While googling sandworm, found a reference of it to the game Dune. Oh those early days of RTS...

    .
Too bad it did not survive when I took it out, maybe it's the tap water. It died a few hours after being taken out of the tank. If I had this idea earlier, I could have given my fishes a good meal...
