    Hi All

Anyone knows of any ingenious way to add more aquasoil into a tank with existing aquasoil without causing too much of disturbance to fishes and shrimps?

Drain the tank to half water level and pour your soil in slowly hand-scoop by hand-scoop. That's what I did. Fishes were allright. No shrimp present so can't comment on that.

Its perfectly fine even if water level as as usual.
I have done the same as Terence before as its ok.

Main thing to watch out for is PH because it might drop.
In general introduce extra soil gradually.

Do you guys leave your plants in place while adding the Aquasoil, as the substrate depth will be different after addition?

    Thanks.

attach a hose to a funnel. pour your soil into the funnel and use the hose to "deposit" the soil where you want it.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

do you already have aquasoil and just topping up? or are you trying to cover an existing layer of something? if its the latter, I suggest tearing everything down instead, otherwise you get two toned layers and mixing when you uproot plants.
