I have been getting a lot of green algae on my glass surface lately. Tried frequent water change (60%), cleaning filter, adding PO4, increased CO2 but to no avail. Sigh....

Instead of total blackout, would reducing the light duration from 7 to 4 hours help???

Green dust and when scraped off will taint the water with a tint of green. very much like green water. I am using a chiller and set at 26C.
