Very nice! I spot you using some green mesh for your support of the land area. Mind telling us how you set this up?

Actually I followed the steps posted by someone in this forum (refer to the below link) except I used a even smaller tank. Cut cost also.
Vivarium link
Materials used.
===========
1. Cork Bark for background.
2. A small tiny power head for the fountain.
3. PVC pipes and optional PVC cutter. Can use saw to cut. To construct false bottom together with the eggcrates and mesh.
4. The cheap mesh/netting.
5. cable fastener, to secure the egg crates and netting fast.
6. A small plant light.
7. Small pebbles for the bottom.
8. Dry spagnum moss bought from florist shop to mix with sand.
9. Clay pellets for draining the water down or else roots will rot if too much water trapped (get from florist also).
10. Some garden soil mix to be put over the clay pellets.
11. Some indoor plants.
12. Silicon to glue the background.
13. Cover the lid for maximum humidity required by plants.
Hope I have not left out anything.
Thanks for sharing dude! Just one question, can I grow moss on top of clay pellets? They're great for filling up space aren't they? Might wanna try using them.
Cheerio!

I didn't try. But I think as long as the nutrients and enough light are there they should flourish.
You should provide adequate ventilation also for the plants in your tank as they require constant daily fresh air. In the plants that you use, it's best to have the air circulate around as this will promote better growth and also better exchange of gases from the leaves to the air and vice versa. Also, ya need to realize that after a while, the soil will release some gases into the air by the natural decomposition factor. If not ventilated, some of these gases might "pollute" the air inside and being trapped will alter the health of your inhabitants in the tank.

Edmund, clay pellets when moist are a good substitute foudation for mosses as they're clean and generally light. If ya intend to see faster growth rate of these mosses being adhered to the clay pellets, i suggest ya get a bottle of "Root Hormones" powder. Sprinkle a few dusts onto them and in about 2 weeks or so, ya'll see the visible changes.Originally Posted by flyinmysoup

Hi Phillipe,
Thanks for your comments. Have seen some of your tanks, they are really beautiful. Must agreed you are an expert in this area. Thanks for the advise.
Hi Phillipe:
Where can I lay my fingers on some "Root Hormones" powder? Sounds like a good booster to have for the moss!
