    Growing moss on kitchen sponge

    I cut a piece of dish washing sponge and put it in a plastic container filled with water. I then add a piece of moss on top of it; growing in a emersed manner.

    Do you think this is a viable growing method for mosses to be eventually placed in a terrarium? Thanks for your comments.

    i think it is possible. but u will have to spray liquid ferts on it sometimes.

    Make sure there were no detergents on the moss (as is here in US) and hard to get out.
    And will the sponge float?
