Yeap that's Amano in the picture. That tank is still around; a picture of it is in the ADA 2005 product catalouge. It's much more beautiful.

Ya, its the same tank that appear in the 2005 ADA Worldbook!
    Its a L400cm X W150cm X H150cm!
I think many of us can only have that in our dreams!

No. It's at the ADA HQ.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Vinz, it could be Amano's home too. As described by Oliver Knott at:

Yeah, that tank really shocked me. Wonder how he maintains it with water that deep. Would be wonderful to know what they used to construct it. And is that natural light from airwell or MH?

Definitely my dream tank for the future.

maintenance is a key issue...even mr. knott says he uses 'easy' plants for his XXXL tank.
both are very impressive...has to be seen to feel the impact...

Thanks for the link Juggler. I've actually seen it already. One of my fav past time is downloading pics of aquariums from the net. Have 280Mbs on my desktop.

Personally i prefer Amano's. More natural, looks like a rainforest bank. Oliver's very impressive too, but kinda looks like a flower border, a bit too orchestrated. Too each his own, I suppose.

Yeah I can see what you mean by 'easy' plants, crypts and all. Probably the only trimming he needs to do are the floaters from the tiger lotus. Or maybe he prefers them too. Hehe. Oliver's inspired me to redo my main 10 gal into a low maintenence crypt mainly tank. Haven't got round to it yet. Speaking of which, I cant seem to keep my crypts green. Bought it emersed, yup green, then turns bronze when submersed leaves grow. Even my green wendtii turned brown edged. Bought a "broad leaf" green wendtii recently, also turned brown edged. Too much brown/bronze in the tank. Oops, going out of topic, should start new post for 'green' crypts.
