Hi guys,
Decided to pop by the Powerboat F1 race which was held today at Marina Bay as I had about an hour between appointments. However, weather was hazy and where I was, there was a concrete bank for background. What a waste! Maybe I'll do better next year.

And a few more at Turn No. 4...
To be honest, after the first two or three boats, there weren't much opportunities. The spray mist and the smoke from the boats makes most pictures very lacking in contrast. Auto focus can also be a problem if you are tracking any particular subject.

Great shots Benny
How do you maintain the sharpness while free-hands and coping with the speed of the Powerboats?
Regards,
Izzat
Actually, I was using a tripod. Lazy me finds it easier and I don't have to carry anything. Just swing the gear in place when the boats are near.

did you do much post processing? seems rather flat on saturation.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
