    Finally I visited my dream river, Sungai Kapuas of Kalimantan Barat. This is a survey trip, so I didn't explore much & only collected a few fish. All my rasboras & puntius were dead on the way back to Kuching....only Betta edithae survive !!

    Hi Michael,

    Are you using your D50 to shot the pictures? I am loving the picture of the coconut tree with partly of moon light. And that public bus picture. Wow...just loving it.

    Unidentified species of moth

    It looks like Episteme sp. possibly maculatrix (the patterns and colours of these genus is very very close - species can only be determined by examination of genitalia)

    This moth mimics the butterfly Cethosia hysea hypsina (Malay Lacewing) both in flight and colours.

    Thanks for the id! You found it out in the reference book? or you are studying moth? Its very hard to find someone studying moth....
