    I have some emersed grown HC, a portion of them melted when I put inside water. May I know the reason? Thanks

    Sure.

    I have some emersed grown HC, a portion of them melted when I put inside water. May I know the reason?
    It can be many things really. Maybe just a normal change but it should not rot away totally.

    May I know the reason that plants will melt when condition changes? Any site I can refer to?

    About 20% of the plant melted away. Now my snails are feasting on the rotting parts...
