My tonina is not doing well... some edges of leaves are melted away. I dose seachem excel only. Half a cap per day. Light is 4 wpg. Water is 25 celcius.
Wonder if they lack any trace element

    how big is your tank?
is it with co2 injection or just s excel?

I don have a pic yet... it has been in my tank for 2 weeks. the tip of the leaves are melted away. The whole plant looks alright, except the tip

I wonder if it is nutrients deficiency

hi shaman.... from my experience, its almost impossible to keep toninas without co2 injection esp in a 3 ft tank. 1 ft and 2 ft still possible to crank up dosage of seachem... you definitely need co2 and also the rotting or withering edges could be due to lack of nutrients.... tonina needs lots of Fe... and possible a little soft water not hard water... lighting wise, they require rather a lot of light.

shaman, you're dosing Excel. You have 4wpg. You are not dosing CO2 (Excel helps, but it was meant as a supplement). You're not dosing your fertilisers NPK, Ca, Mg and trace.

That's a bad combination dude Get some fertilisers quickly, either commercial or PMDD way. Look into a good CO2 system too. With 4wpg and the present tank conditions, you're going to have a 3ft tank full of problems.
