I have java moss on my driftwood. I notice some hair like stuff together with them. I suspect it's hair algae so i removed them but upon closer look it actually branch out. SO my question now is do hair algae branch out?? or it's juz some baby java moss??? Confuse now!!!

    Pls advise

Focus on balancing out the tank lah, also get your plants to grow as well as they can. Meanwhile if you like livestock go for Yamatos, they're supposedly often used to clear hair algae.

my plants r doing very well... bubbling alot glosso also crawl very fast and far.
even blood star grass i juz throw in yesterday has new shoots. but hair algae still come visit me. Could it be because i juz setup my tank the plants doesn't really start to fight for nutrients??? it's a 3 week old tank.

Try to get yamatoes in mass of 15-25 for a 20 gallon setup. Make sure you dose enough nutrients (EI is a good method) and crank the CO2 up a little bit and observe the critter behaviour for any sign of stress (do it carefully and be around the entire day when you do this.).

Yep, its hair algae. The yamatoes are going to help (not sure if you got the correct ones) but you would still need to do the work yourself. Go pick/harass/remove the algae as much as you possibly can and the critters would pick on the rest. Work on the CO2/plant mass if too low.
