Would be nice to see a video of it swimming.
Biologically inspired by the common carp, the world's first autonomous robotic fish are the latest attraction at the London Aquarium.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Interesting read...
Wonder if we can have one in our tanks ...programmed to eat up all BBA. Well, it is a nice development nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Eat? If it's robotic, why not arm it with a laser and program it to surgically zap all the algae, worms, and other stuff we don't like in our tanks. Can program it to pee fertilisers on a regular basis to.Originally Posted by wynx

hey, it should use the body as a mechanical, chemical and bio filter. it goes around zapping algae, sucking up shit and dead stuff, wilting leaves, etc etc. maybe Eheim will come up with such a "immersed filter"

hmm....To be honest, the Japanese already introduced robotic carps last year (or was it the year before). Much better looking in my opinion. But the price tag was ridiculous!! Something above S$10,000 if I recall correctly.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
