    Hi guys,

As you know that live rock normally come with tiny crab (size of 10 0r 20 cents). Recently, I realised that one of the crab has dead. I wondered is it really dead or it has just changed its hard shell just like hermit crab do changes their shell periodically. Can anyone advise ?[]

try to remove those crabs coz when they grow up.. they will attempt to eat your fishes... those 'freebies' can do without.. best 'freebies' are like brittlestars..
Let us work together to preserve the world for our children to inherit by being responsible to our surroundings. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, bubbles and memories.

Yes, get rid of any crabs that are on the live rock, unless they are reef crabs (blue or red depending on species. Also watch out for anenomes! SOME WILL BREED LIKE crazy and destroy beautiful reef tanks.

    NANO-Reefs ROCK!
    My fish passions:
    -African cichlids (especially Malawi)
    -Catfish
    -Red snook (petenia splendida)
    -Discus
