If it's Jebo, it's the brand of my tank cum filter. Understand it is a Taiwan/China make. I got mine from H2O.

    Hehe, Kev,

It's performance for the largest on is 1200l/h.

It costs about $120 and I got two of them.

Works like a charm and also has autoshutdown when overheated.

    issit a canister?

and why does it need an overheat function ? It is a remedy function rather than a "value added" one from what i see!

It is like buying a car that always stalls but has an "anti-stall" function and calling it a good car.

The shutdown system is quite a good function whereby if cases where is gets choked or watever reason, the pump will get overloaded and start to overheat. So when it trips, you may have a chance to see whats wrong with it and rectify the problem. A system that doesn't trip means that the equipment will total breakdown till a point where you may have to replace the whole unit (costly).

The downside is that if it shuts down without us knowing, your tank will not be filtered which may end with dead fishes.

That's why we should always try to go for the more reliable brand filters as this is quite critical for our tanks
    Cheers!!
