normally ppl opt for reactor than diffusor!

find that diffusor do well in smaller tanks: ie 1ft or 2ft.
i have a 4ft tank currently running on diffusor, but dosent seems doing well.

Qns: if one have a low maintanience tank (lightings 2wpg) mainly mosses on 4ft tank. Does reactor ok with it?! does reactor need to be run on high lightings tank?!

A reactor is okay with it. I'd personally choose to have a reactor because I would want save on CO2.

A reactor need not be run on a high light tank. Take a look at Takashi Amano's tanks. They're all high light, and all run on one or multiple diffusors.

In the past, reactors used to be thought of as the best, but the trend might be changing. (read the fertilisation forum, sticky.) It all boils down to what works for you

Me still sticking to my reactor... Most efficient in dissolving CO2 for my tank as comapred to diffusor and less bubbles in the water.

diffusor is ok i think for up to 2ft tanks, the best effect if you want to use it in a 4 ft is to get a power head to make sure the water with co2 is circulated ard the tank. Reactor is good though if you can afford the cash to spend. I recommend 2 filters for 4 ft tank, or 1 filter + power head to make sure theres sufficient circulation

    FOR ME:

Small tanks up to 2ft, diffusor is fine.

Bigger tanks like 3ft to 6ft will require proper amount of CO2 to be dissolved, thereby ASSIST in better CO2 circulation within the tank parameters. Reactor is my choice
