Recently been to my cousin's hse, saw his 2 4ft planted tank!
one of them is a moss tank, another is assorted plants tank, both were heavily planted.

jux curious abt how clear his tank are. been told that he experienced green water and algae on his glass tank. he actually dose those purifying powders often. read that it do not harm either the fishes or plants.

his plants were doing well, very greenish and healthy looking!

i know this way doesnt solved the root of the problem, as he shld look into how to prevent it. would like to ask if this method is fine?!?! will it do any harm to plants and fishes in long run. will it affect the CO2 level?!?!

I've not come accross this brand but i know there is a solution or powder (can't remember the name) which will bind all the particles/detrius in the water making the water clear. Not sure if your cousin is using that stuff.
