Ant plant. The stem of the plant is hollowed into a series of chambers which allow the ants to live in those chambers. The plant gives the "home" for the ants, and the ants will protect the plant. This is called symbiosis.

    Xenentodon sp.?? (saltwater)

Clam. It is half-buried itself in the mudflat.

    Another species of clam.

    Unidentified species of mangrove snail:

    Uca sp.

Thanks....I'm using both camera, DSLR & DC to photograph those flora & fauna ...& the scenery too. I don't have zoom lens, so my DC (got 10x optical zoom) help me a lot to zoom in the object which is very far away from me.

Probably I'll come to S'pore to shop for lens & others equipment.

Yup, it's raining almost every afternoon...& sometimes in the morning....sometimes down pour for one whole night. VERY VERY WET over here. That place (sempadi - telaga air area) is 50 minutes drive from Kuching.....not a tourist area, so I don't think you can find a taxi driver who can bring you there.
