Ya, for shrimps, how to make a moss carpet?
Thinking of getting a piece of mesh, same size as mine tank base, then just lay moss on it. Need to use base fert and stuff?

I think it's best to have substrade but avoid sharp gravels as they will hurt the barbels.(correct spelling?)

Any type of moss, if you just want to keep shrimps not for beauty, just go for the cheapest moss.
There's no need for base fert if you're just growing mosses.

OK, so can just get a piece of mesh the size of the floor of mine tank, cover with moss and a piece of drift wood and cover with a bit of anubias and moss can?
