    Hi,

Alright, I am bad in photography, but I want to do some profiling shots (Equipments, Flora, Fauna).

Following is just an example (trail) of my profiling shots
All shots are in auto-mode, have not learn much about exposure and other stuff.

    Normal mode with slow flash

Super Macro mode with slow flash

*Photo taken during Photoperiod, so my whole room is brighten up, I will try again when the tank lights are off*

Just use the build-in flash and auto-mode for the profiling shots, no tripod too
All photos are Auto-Levels, Auto-Contrast and Auto-Color in Photoshop

I hope to acheive this standard someday

What can I do to improve my Profiling shots?
Alot I know but the more important aspects

    Thanks Guys
    Regards,
    Izzat

    Hi izzat,

I am newly bird for photography too. Here is my humble suggestions and please correct me if i m wrong.

you will need white background as it will absorb light and will not make the object over exposed. and also, i guess flash mode is better to be off and ur room lighting needs to be bright. use a tripod stand to ensure no jitter when shooting the object.

Better not use direct flash because of the reflection... can try off camera flash or bounce or no flash at all.

Thanks Guys for the suggestions, I will try to do more Practical photography

Ranma, those are the lights from my tank (6500K/10000K) that are reflected/absorbed by the camera lens.
That's why it's abit Yellowish I used part of my Jewel cabinet as the "stand" to take the photos
    Regards,
    Izzat
