Yes, Glossostigma elatinoides will make a nice contrast.

The Nuphur japonica and Echinodourous will have to go, they ruin the proportion.

That looks like a Nuphur japonica (not Nymphea lotus, I think). It can grow big like the E.bleheri. Maybe can use it in the background to cover the intake pipe.

Agree that when these plants grow too big, it becomes over-powering... maybe just enjoy it while they are small. And rescape when you are bored with them.

I doesnt look that bad IMO. Just giv it time to mature and everything falls in place. The only comment i have is that the wavy leave plant at the xtreme left (cant recall name). It can grow pretty big. The rock, I assume its temp and that obvious inlet/outlet filter piece. . ..duh
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

actually, it's not bad except for the bigger plants, the white rock/stone on the wood?, and input pipe of filter being seen .....

    Hey, looks good leh...

Except for the stone... What's that for? And those 2 plants will grow BIG... But as Juggler mentioned, enjoy them and then change them as they get too big...

    can consider e.tenellus,
since ur scape is more of the "long-grass" wild type....tenellus may look good...

    Thanks Guys

Hi, thanks for all ur advices and comments.

ya, when the E.bleheri grow big, will not be nice, actually intended to wait for it to grow to cover the intake pipe and the Nuphur japonica is odd one out, will take it out. If i can find some more vallis then will replace the E.bleheri with it cos now I'm short of vitamin M(out of job no choice). or wait for it to propagate.

Yup the rock is temp and used to hold down the bog wood cos the left end bog wood floats up, the right side is being held down by the drift wood.

Foreground wise would very much like to try glosso, never grow before as no pressurized CO2 last time. E. tenellus, i agree will blend in well. Can't decide

Well for this setup, all thanks to some of the generous aquarist here like justikanz, juggler and michael lai for the FOC plants.

Was actually browsing through "The Book Of ADA 2002" and trying to mimic some of the 60cm tank setup, those with bushy plants as background and glosso as foreground.
Well i didn't sort of get it right cos didn't get the right plants so this the outcome.

That tank needs a nice big ole' red Kleiner Bar on the right side there. Glosso or HC would look great in the front.
