Any ideas on how to clear the algae on the nana plant. I was tempted to dump it in my other tank for my oto to clean it for me, but I am worried that that the algae will spread to other plants after I take it out. Any advice on this?

Dark greenish hairy ones, tried scraping, quite hard without tearing the leaves.

Should be black beard algae aka BBA. Does it look like that in the picture?

If its hairy, SAE should be able to remove.
