    well.. went to c328 and saw that they were selling 2 types of mini Goby.. the more expensive one being a Pandaka sp. and this one....



    Whats the species again?

    very faded leh some more no caudal.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    I bought mine for for less than a dollar from pethut @ chua chu kang and saw a tank full of them today(030407) at Farmart.

    Justin, how big are these mini gobies anyway? Can't be smaller than the Pandaka sp. yes?

    mine isn about 3 cm long. Those at farmart are smaller. about 1.5 to 2 cm. why?

    Hehehe... there is a reason why I asked about the size. I was already suspecting yours may be a totally different one from what ranmasatome got. The one from Farmart may or may not be the same as well.

    What you have got is probably the more "commonly" found bumblebee gobies (Brachygobius sp.) in the trade. That said, there are a total of 9 different species in the genus, so what the shops have may not all be the same.

    Can't tell for now what are those ranmasatome got. Waiting for a full detailed shot.
