a few qns
(1) how old are they?
(2) had they been paired since young or put together later?
(3) did you leave the eggs inside or you removed them after 2 days (for the past 4 times)
i have 2 scenarios
(a) this is a female-female pair. Unfortunately it is totally possible for oscars. And they are among the few cichlids can cannot be readily sexed despite all the theories.
(b) oscars are among the several cichlid species that pair for life.
WHile a red devil female will separate from a male when not breeding, and also she will always look for the best looking and older male if given a choice ........ Oscar pairs are much more "loyal".
So it may be a case of the female developing faster than the male...and she still sticks with him despite the fact he is not past puberty yet.
But this is only for very young pairs....and in your case, 4 breedings already...even more unlikely.
one more thing, even if the parents do not take care of the eggs, if they are fertilised, a portion will still hatch.
If you are seeing eggs turning white on day 1 and then one day 2 at least 30-50% turning white, it is quite certain that the eggs are not fertilised at all....and not due to the parents not taking care of them.
