ISO 800, made a mistake by shooting at that, bad for cropping......
boh lah, just very lucky.
was walking around looking when i spooked them.
4 flew and one landed by that drain.
if it landed in the grassland....will almost never find it again.
Interesting. I ever notice some birds like that at night flying silently like owls. Are these the ones?

where you got that figure from??? the cheapest nikon hovers around 1.2-1.3k, the canon around 1.5k. there are 3rd party lenses and it depends on your needs
