I saw it in c328, near the cichlid tanks. It's a small bright silver fish, about 2cm in length. Seems to exhibit schooling behaviour. It's silver all over...

Anyone can tell me the scientific name of this fish?

If these fishes are in a tank on the left side of the shop and kept together with guppies and assorted fishes, then they are definitely Horadandia atukorali. The only other silvery fish I can think of is the Sawbwa resplendens, but the males of this species has a red nose and red tips on the fins. They were definitely stressed in the tank I saw them in though so the red marks may not be evident.

    Argh no!

If you enter the shop by the left entrance, count to the third tank on the middle shelf. There's a bright silver little fish there.

EDIT: I found it! It was listed in my Aquajournals... Hemigrammus armstrongi

actually this is believed to be the parasitised form of He. rodwayi. all these platinum fishes are due to guanine being exuded to cover parasitic infection.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Oh okay so its the silver tetra.

I know they come in regularly but didn't see any recently. Probably need to visit c328 soon.
