Mount Singai (1843 ft or 562 m) is located in between Bau & Matang area. The Catholic memorial & pilgrimage centre is located in the middle of this small mountain. This is my another wonderful trip. There were a group of hornbills making very loud & strange call at the forest canopy near the summit. My friend recorded down the sound & hopefully I can insert the sound into my webpage.....

I love your photos of the expeditions you take. You are a lucky fellow to have access to such beautiful biodiversity. Thanks for sharing.

Yes indeed. I am a Pantheist and find great pleasure in just owning fish tanks. Here in South Africa there is some beautiful scenery but it is always nice to see places from other parts of the world. I particularly find Sarawak very inviting, the place just seems to 'grab me'. Truly beautiful.

Ha!ha!....I also notice that wire when I uploading that last pix. I think it's left by somebody. There is a village nearby....& the church is up there ....so someone "forgot" to hide the wire, i guess.

Beautiful shots, I really like the 2nd shot of the sun rays breaking through the clouds. Visited the place a few years back, very nice place for natural lovers.

    Michael, Any shots of Bako?
