Just to check if KNO3 and K2SO4 are harmful to shrimps since they are sensitive to ammonia? I intend to start a low maintenance planted tank with only taiwan moss, mini pelia and shrimps, with no CO2 injection. Are KNO3 and K2SO4 necessary in my setup?

KNO3 and K2SO4 are not necessary in your setup. No additive is needed for taiwan moss and mini pellia. It is good to avoid CO2 injection for shrimp tank if your plant never need it.

To add, KNO3 and K2SO4 do not contain ammonia or its compounds.

EQ is absolutely fine. careful with the Excel. Hardier shrimp will be O.K. as long as you don`t overdose.
