    Was at Ben TB yesterday.

Saw this tank with some white spot shrimps in it. According to Ben, this is a new species, will also eat algae. Anybody know the ID and any good for planted tank? It's selling for $1.50 a piece.

if it's a new species, i doubt many will have experience with this shrimp
it's a bit pricey to simply just try as an experiment, but you might want to get one or two pieces just for the variety

already sold out, but Ben says new shipment coming in Wednesday. Also it doesn't sound like the rocket shrimp.

where is ben tb? Specifically, so that maybe I can pop by to take a look too. By the way, what happen to the tiger and bee shrimps which we ordered almost a month or more back?

Anyone knows which LFS sells a lot of cheap and many varieties of shrimps?

    Help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

well, went to Ben's and got those white-splotched shrimps. Basically they look like ghost shrimp (have pincers too) with transparent bodies but the shell and legs have white splotches. Don't look so good in Ben's tank but looked much better once they're in with the plants.

Bushkiat, there are two LFS near each other in blk 201D/E (the commercial centre around st 21). Look out for the A&W at the corner of the block. This you can see from the main road (Ave 2 I think). The bigger shop (and constantly crowded) is K&K and is on the same row as A&W and facing the road.
Pro Pet is also same row as A&W but in the other direction, leading away from the main road (facing carpark).
