Ok... Before I kena for saying people and never do myself.

Anyone here can provide more info on Hill Stream Loaches (Borneo Loach)?

They are rather rare in printed literature. Would appreciate info on their habitats, habits, diet etc. How many types there are? Where are they found in nature? Is cool water a must? Flowing water needed? Do they really feed on algae? etc...

    Thanks!

Highly oxygenated water is a must. Temperature is not so much of a concern for these guys. Keep them in tanks where there's a considerable amount of water movement.

They will feed on algae wafers, brown algae growing on rocks, small worms and sometimes flake. However newly bought ones need to be "trained" to accept these foods. Sometimes they just waste away in the tank.

    Wow... Thanks, Budak... Great link...

Considering their love for flow... I am beginning to wonder if they will like my betta tank with a HOT filter...

Thomas, here's a link on the same website to Martin Thoene's River Tank.

Excellent setup for fishes that come from rapid waters.
