    hey bros
    is it ok to seperate the light hours
    as in:
    i will on my lights from 7am-11am and after that from 7pm till 11pm
    total is also 8 hours

    You're timing it so that it's on when you're home?
    ...splitting photo period doesn't make the plants grows any better than having the lights on 8 hours straight.

    im splitting it cos i wan to on the lights when the temp is lower
    my air con is only on at certain times

    i on my tank from 5 - 12. that time will give better temperature

    I guess u are referring to 6pm to 12am is it? If that's the case, yes you can. Plants will adapt themselves to the timing you given to them.

    10-12hrs of uninterrupted photo-period at anytime you wish. Just make sure your timing stays consistent and plants will adapt to it.

    I think with CO2 you can turn it on for a longer period ... around 10 hrs a day.

    Yup yup, sorry for the typo error. It is 6 hours daily from 6pm - 12am. Thanks for your advice.
