    probably a member of the R. sumatrana complex
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    my guess also... couldn't find any precise ID in the Brittan books... fish (2 from EcoCult) still quite small.... 1.25 inches...

    this group is quite complicated and requires more study. it could be a R. paviana as well (previously R. paviei see http://www.petfrd.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11102).
