    Education Officer/Assistant at Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research, NUS

    This person must have at least a diploma degree and/or preferably with a
    marine background. He/she must have good organisation skills, responsible,
    have an outgoing personality, able to work independently, enjoy working
    outdoors and able to work with adults and children. He/she will be required
    to organise and coordinate public walks in nature areas, as well as conduct
    education workshops, both locally and overseas. Some research work on local
    biodiversity might be involved.

    Other qualities to consider: able to drive; willing to learn; able to use
    basic internet and office software.

    Other work requirements: This is not a 9-5 job. Although typically a 5-day
    work week, he/she may have to work on weekends and odd hours.

    Special opportunities of this job: work in the last pristine nature areas in
    Singapore; spread conservation message; able to travel to nature areas
    overseas; work with with nature lovers, experts and scientists.

    Length of contract: 1 year (renewable).
    Salary: Starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
