Hi hi! I have a suggestion...

I noticed that sometimes when forumers ask, 'What is XXX?', 'Can have pic to show XXX?' etc, we sometimes point to eternal links or we have to upload our own pics onto the thread.

Can we encourage the use of the AQ Gallery to provide accurate images of the fish? Then we can just point out the images on the Gallery... Thus, making the Gallery useful.

Maybe to do so, the Gallery needs to be arranged such that the pics are arranged alphabetically and in either scientific and/or common names for easy searching.

Non-photographic related comments can also be added then, on the fish/plants/animals on their care, ease of keeping etc...

    How's that?
    Read me! http://justikanz.blogspot.com/

    I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...

A very good idea. We are still evaluating the gallery at the moment, but it seems that there is a search function and it's pretty good. However, the downside is that we need to input the keywords for the search to be effective.

Also, there is a description field where you can input other data such as the require parameter of the plant/fish.

Comments by members is possible, but we have yet to activate that due to some considerations.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
