there's CO2 for this tank, the lights are 36watts x 2 but I have cut it down to just 36 watts recently. I find I get better growth for the Bolbitis heudelotii with the lowered lights.

I like the definintion! And yes, join the APC contest!

But I think the light should be more in front though, the tank is a tad too dark

The tank look so calm, my first thought was 'Hey, that's a vivarium what...' Then I saw the Blyxia sp.. Haha...

Very nice, indeed! But I agree with Terence that maybe it can do with more light... At least for the shoot for the APC contest...

Yeah! If I lowered the water to half and get the ferns to grow emerge, then I get a vivarium with rubies...kekeke..

Yes...a pity....They are rare nowadays...took me almost a year before I managed to acquire this batch.

BTW, anyone can ID the crypts in the last pic?

Thanks! Mine are the smaller sp., for some reasons I get stunted growth on the bolbitis when my lights are too strong, once I reduced the lights they are okay.

    Talking

haha a lot brown crypts can only tell what it is when it flowers. some need dna test!

not expert but my guess is its C. Mi Oya.[don't shoot me if i'm wrong!] C petchii looks similar but is thinner.

BTW Art at APC sent me an email saying USA under-represented. maybe he means foreigners over represented?.

Nice one ... I would love to have such a tank so that there's less trimming to do.
But have a feeling it is getting too bulky. Like not much swimming space left.
