I faced this problem before and all plant die off after two weeks.
Yesterday i bought another new similar plant to replace the death one. It has very healthy and green leave when planted yesterday night, but over a night i noticed that it back to the old problem, transparent spot all over the leaves.
anybody tell me what wrong with this?

just to highlight here, other plants such as Riccia, Moss and Hairgrass are very healthy growth, just only this plant.

    Hi WFC,
Could you share with us the occupants inside? Also, you said all the plants rotted the last time and now only this plant? Strange....I think its a Echin. parviflorus. Read somewhere, sometimes nitrite too high the leaves develop this symtom. You might wanna follow up on that lead.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

all plants mean all that kind of plant die, not include Riccia, Moss and Hairgrass.

You have pleco or sucker fish in you tank. They love to eat this type of plants. Try keeping Anubias instead.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

That doesn't look like an aquatic plant to me. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    I have a similar problem too ...

It's tenellus var tenellus emerged form ... after those leaves dropped, you will get beautifull submersed form (tinny, red-brown colour).

That's what I thought too. But he said "overnight" the holes appeared which is not normal for E.tenellus to drop their emersed leaves so quickly.

I noticed some leaves were not affected "overnight". So I guess maybe some yamato shrimps had a feast on it.

If you know it's your "sucker fish" that is causing the problem, don't need to post up your tank specs

Don't vent your anger on that fish. It's his/her nature after all.
