im curious to know ........ how many corydoras can i keep in a 4'x 2'x 2' tank??

and what type of tank should i go for?? the type of gravel, and decorations in the tank etc etc.

    PS : the heading should read "4 feet" instead of 4" [] [] [] [] []

that problem can be solved easily.. tetras, apistos, live bearers.. sigh.. the world the limit.. or should i say.. the tank the limit.. it is all up to your preference, my friend..[]

dea has 60 corys in his 4ft tank? whoa!!!

dea, can give a rundown what corys are they? don't tell me half of them are habrosus and/or pgymies! []

very interesting... so my 3ft can put...hmm...

rain, i like having cardinal and/or rummynose tetras in a cory tank. with a few cherry barbs for the red/orange colours also nice.

oh, apistos (kelv actually suggested apisto!!![:0] ) and rams seems to be the 'in thing' now...[:]

if you ever want to do a cory only tank, always go for shallow ones, you can quite a nice garden for them. Got the idea from a book I have. Looks quite nice really.

You want fishes to fill mid level, you always can get discus. Haha... I got a snake and maybe a turq to let go really really cheap since i got 2 pairs and want to make space.

Kill two birds with one stone, suck her into discus and solve my space problem too. haha...

But come to think of it, will look nice, discus so big, cories so small, contrasting. Hmmm....

    47+ now
    attrition
10+ xygatus from seng bros and metae/melini died on me

middle layer fish use tetras if you like
personally the height of the tank means nothing
my 2ft tall tank is 70cm tall and they're just as happy as in my 4ft tank

if you're concerned about the space, 50 will be just about right

A bit overcrowded I know, running two eheim externals to help with quality.
Tank is heavily planted which helps.
