iridescent?
I saw at Far East Aquatics (Simon Rd) today a tank of Boraras urophthalmoides which had quite significant shiny streaks on them (choy, what's the term for it liao?).... nice, but my tank is already full of Boraras merah and brigittae liao
Karin also has a tank of the Boraras sp. - the underscribed type from Thailand, which looks like a stubby B. maculatus with a large black spot.
Just to add, because I have nothing better to do: go visit Ecoculture/Cichlids Forever too if you are in that area, just 5 minutes walk away. Also there's lots of good food: dimsum, teochew muei, teochew kueh, nasi lemak, orh chian....

I was thinking more of the kind of metallic 'platinum' sheen like those you see on some cardinal and other tetras..... go and buy lah....

BTW, I also saw clown barbs at Petmart today.
clown barbs could be S. everetti or S. dunckeri. everetti is more orangey base, while dunckeri has more pinkish/pearl-sheen base.
