Hi, anyone come across beautiful algaes? If grown in a control form, some can be very nice...Any views?
I have a few green hairy type algae growing on my tank background. It is very nice and natural. Still trying to get a good photo on it(dun seems to get it clear) and post.

I have tried to grow staghorn algae as the only plant in a nano tank but just kept on getting lots of hair algae. My family told me to give it up or they would throw the tank out as it looked bad.
I think algae is under rated, but for certain do not like it in may large display tank.
Hahaha, dunno why, but I found the last post really funny in a cute way.
